For some odd reason I dont really understand, this image has popped into my head a number of times over the past couple of weeks, thought I would include it in the log...
Charlie McCarthy and Edgar Bergen were to give a short performance at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. I was sent over to get an advance photo of them to run in Sunday's edition (Arizona Republic). The three of us had a great time in the hour or so we spent together. Such a career, such living History!
Dont believe Edgar Bergen, I dare you...
This was the summer of 1978. Three weeks after I shot this pic, Charlie was retired to the Smithsonian. Two months later, that September, Edgar passed on...
It was one of the last photos ever shot of the two of them together.
I had always planned to send this on to Candice Bergen, I thought/think she would enjoy it...

Shot this image sometime during the mid 70's, slugged "Stable Apparition" the day after aquisition by a cutline writer working the rim, in the newsroom, at the Arizona Republic.

It came together at South Mountain Stables, on a HOT summer afternoon in Phoenix.

Image has made a resurgence of sorts, most recently, a large print hangs over a fireplace at a horse ranch in central Florida.

I've made a couple of new Giclee prints, Matted and framed one up to see what the cowboys in Evergreen think... Rodeo weekend and all...

Hey...Just for the hell of it, and kind of like a readers survey, I'll send the first person that reads and responds
to this log entry, a free gift. A taste treat!

Just email me, first person gets it ($40.value). I'll write you back and let you know if it's you...
no shit...
(no response as of 4pm, saturday, who will be the first?)
**NEAL BARTON of Tyler Texas is the winner! 10:58pm Saturday!**

Zero Gravity Exhibition

Opening Night Festivities

Sangre de Christo Art Center

Extraterrestrial next to
"Deer Creek Canyon Saucers"

- see log entry below -

Friday night was the opening reception of the Zero Gravity show down in Pueblo at the Sangre de Christo Arts Center...
It was a great turnout and several hundred western Sci-Fi art enthusiasts were in attendance. I was thrilled to have three of my prints selected for this exhibit...
The show will run thru August 19th.
Stationed myself within ear shot of my images ("Middle Earth" & "Deer Creek Canyon Saucers") caught some great reaction throughout the evening.
Someone actualy claimed a pig was hidden somewhere within "Middle Earth"...
An older woman sat next to me while pondering the alien craft in "Deer Creek Canyon Saucers".
If in fact they were real, how this would immediately change our world and all existing beliefs? I went to the bar...

(photo/ks: image capture of free roaming gallery lifeform in front of video projection screen, near bar area...)

Yes... There were doubts initially,
but under intense magnification,
our suspicions were then confirmed...
the sign of the clown was revealed,
and from here out, all was as it should be…

The following few entries to the log are excerpts of just a few of the many emails received about the website and the images contained within...
Thanks Everybody, this has been TONS-O-FUN ...

I can't believe how accomplished you are! Gallery openings, wine connoisseur, nationwide arrest warrants - you got it going! I am so proud of you . . .although proud is probably not the proper word since I had nothing to do with it. Let's just say that I am extremely happy for you and proud to be your friend. (long pause) We are still friends, aren't we?"

It's TERRIFIC! While I was poking around looking at all the pics, Theresa came up behind me and watched for a while...then said "isn't that your friend Pam"? Her next question was "who's that peculiar man"? Hahahaha...why that's KEVIN!"
